Johan Lamprecht

Johan Lamprecht is a young freelance artist with a passion for graphic design and a unique perspective in photography. His work is popular internationally, with corporate clients from the USA, Austria, Germany and Hungary having purchased his work.

He was invited to stage his first solo exhibition "The Continuum of Art" from February to March 2010 at the Royal Commonwealth Society in London. The 56 images in the exhibition focused on the underlying technologies of generative art, code based art, text mode art, graphic design, vintage photography, RIP art, photographic technique, and visionary art.

His most recent exhibition "Art and character" was hosted by the Imibala Gallery in Somerset West, South Africa from March to April 2011.

Johan has an exceptional approach to photography and strives to capture the zest of life, wishing to create images narrating everyday life, leaving his images open to interpretation. He uses a truthful and unbiased approach to taking his images, aspiring not to influence the subject in any way, shape or form; his only variable being the use of light.

captivating medium of self-expression and creation; thus being an incredibly adaptable, evolvable art.”

His graphic designs represent composites of design media utilising innovative features of programmes such as InDesign, Cinema 4D, Apophysis, Illustrator, vvvv, Wings 3D, Art of illusion, True space, Metasecua, Context free art, Fireworks, cb model pro, Imageready, Jyafray, Flam 3, and Blender. He has a developing interest in multimedia productions and is currently experimenting with vision and sound interaction capablities of Audacity, Adobe audition, Virtualdub, Sound 2d Warper, Combustion Pro 4 , Mixxx, Whorld, Ambient grains, vvvv, and Jahshaka.
